The Soak

Client: MAS

Brief: We were appointed by interior designers MAS to create a series of 3D interior architectural renders and a virtual reality tour of their designs for new London bar and restaurant The Soak.

Background: The Soak is an upmarket cocktail bar and restaurant located at the Grosvenor hotel in London. Situated within a stunning Grade II listed building, the space boasts beautiful Victorian period features including arched windows and high ceilings. The interiors created for The Soak by MAS are sophisticated, exciting and modern; they also pay homage to the light and history of the building.

Approach: We produced a series of 3D computer generated images of the interiors designed by MAS, including detailed images of the materials used. These photorealistic interior renders highlight the design features of the various spaces within The Soak and demonstrate how they might be used, be that the welcoming oval bar for large gatherings, the comfortable plush circular tables for leisurely and relaxed dining, or the more intimate booths. We also created a virtual reality tour linking the different spaces, to allow the viewer to experience what it would look and feel like to move around in the bar. Our visuals demonstrate how the interior designs created by MAS look in situ, and showcase the dramatic lighting and impressive spaces of the project. Our work helped MAS to achieve sign-off on their interiors from the client, and their vision is now a reality in The Soak, central London.
